These fabrics usually have good stretch to ensure freedom of movement and durability.

What Size Should I Get in a Sports Bra?

The size of sports bras is the same as that of normal underwear. You can choose according to your usual underwear size. You can take your measurements as follows. Steps:

  • Measure upper bust: lean forward 30-45° and circle your brother with a soft ruler at the highest point of your chest.
  • Measure the lower chest. With your back upright, measure the lower chest. Use a soft tape measure horizontally around the lower chest.
  • Subtract the lower bust measurement from the upper bust measurement. Example:41"-38"= 3"
  • Find the final number below to get your cup size. Example:3" = C cup.
  • Your bra size is your bra plus cup size. Example:38C

What is the Difference Between a Sports Bra and a Normal Bra?

Sports bras are designed for physical activity to provide support and minimize breast movement during exercise. Helps reduce discomfort and potential damage to breast tissue.

And they are made from strong, stretchable, moisture-wicking fabrics that can withstand strenuous activity and control perspiration.
Sports bras usually have no hooks, wires, or seams, and they often have wider bands and straps to distribute weight more evenly and reduce pressure points.

Normal bras are designed for everyday wear with a focus on providing shape, support and coverage under all types of clothing. They are made from a variety of materials including lace, satin and cotton. Designs are varied, ranging from padded and steel rims for enhanced functionality, to soft, steel-free rims for comfort. Regular bras may include lace, embellishments, and detailed designs with thinner straps.

They often have closures with hooks and eyelets in the back or front, and may include steel rings for added lift and shape. But both sports underwear and regular bras are designed to protect the breasts.

If you prefer the design of a sports bra, you can wear it in everyday life.

How Do I Wash Plus Size Sports Bras?

Our womens sports bras are machine washable. To avoid mixing colors, it is recommended to machine wash the same color in cold water and use non-chlorine bleach when necessary. Hang dry naturally or tumble dry at low temperatures. Do not dry clean.

Due to the softness of the sports bra, we recommend that you use an underwear wash bag when machine washing. This protects the optimal elasticity of the bra.

Can I Wear a Sports Bra While Pregnant or Breastfeeding?

Yes, you can wear womens sports bras during pregnancy or breastfeeding, especially plus size sports bras.

During pregnancy and breastfeeding, your breasts grow larger and become more sensitive due to hormonal changes.

Plus size sports bras provide good support as well as comfort. Our sports bras are made of breathable, soft, stretchy material that prevents irritation and wicks away sweat effectively.

In addition, during pregnancy, many pregnant women experience leg edema due to changes in body circulation and water accumulation. To improve blood circulation in the legs, reduce edema, and prevent the occurrence of varicose veins, you can choose our plus size compression socks to work with them.

How Long do Sports Bras Last?

The lifespan of womens sports bras usually depends on some factors, including how often it is worn and how it is cared for. While the average sports bra may begin to show signs of wear and tear in about a year, a proper wearing and care strategy can significantly extend its life. It is recommended that you have at least three sets of sports bras on hand and rotate them: one to wear, one to wash, and one to keep on hand. Always wash your bras by hand, or gently in the washing machine with cold water and a mild detergent. Never put your bras in the dryer.

What Are the Levels of Support For Sports Bras?

There are three main categories of support levels for sports bras:

  • Low-intensity support: for low-impact activities such as yoga hiking and walking.
  • Medium-intensity support: for medium-impact activities such as bike riding and fast walking.
  • High-intensity support: designed for high-impact activities such as running, aerobics, and jumping.
