  • "I ordered a couple of pairs of these (the skeleton legs, the all-over skulls). I got them in two different sizes, just in case I was wrong on my size. And they are perfect. They're comfortable and they don't pinch or bind anywhere. I had my knees replaced, so I have scars that go down beyond my knees and these don't rub on them or tighten. They stay up with very minimal need for pulling them up."——Giles

  • "These wide-calf compression socks are amazing! They go on easily and don't cut off my blood supply... even when I forgot and wore them for 20 hours straight. I've only washed them twice, but they still look and feel like new. I'm going to order more because I want to wear them every day."——Stephanie

  • “I just received these last evening. I put these on to try right away. I like how easy they were to put on. I bought 4 pairs and have worn a pair all day. They are not tight. I can feel them working I think, I like them a lot. am so thankful I ordered these to try. So give them a try and hope you will be surprised as I am. I can even walk better after being on my feet a lot today.”——Ashley

  • “I absolutely love these compression socks!!! These are the best, most affordable socks I've ever had. I naturally have wide calves and for years I've worn compression socks due to edema. The right ones really do make a difference...not only in comfort, but also in reducing swelling / helping with circulation.”——Lisa

Frequently Asked Questions

What are compression socks?

Compression socks are specialized socks that apply gentle pressure to your legs, ankles, and feet. They are designed to improve blood flow and circulation, reduce swelling, and relieve pain and discomfort.

Plusock is committed to providing plus size people with suitable compression socks to help them relieve feet problems.

How do compression socks work?

Compression socks work by applying graduated pressure to the legs, ankles, and feet. The pressure is highest at the ankle and gradually decreases up the leg, helping to improve blood flow and circulation.

What is the compression level for Plusock Compression Socks?

We offer socks in two compression levels.

  • Our socks offer a moderate, 18-25 graduated compression that’s intended to feel like a warm, gentle hug on your legs.
  • Our socks offer a moderate to firm, 20-30 graduated compression which is a medical grade compression level and often comes as a prescription or recommendation by a healthcare provider. Commonly used for moderate edema, lymphedema, Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT), pre and post-surgical applications, moderate spider and varicose veins.

Are these socks supposed to feel tight?

Yes, they should feel like a really comfortable hug (we call it 'the squeeze') but you shouldn't feel pain or discomfort. It may take a week for your legs to adjust and you may feel a throbbing sensation (that mean's they're working). It's important to find a compression level that addresses your health goals while minimizing discomfort.

How often do I wear compression socks?

The frequency with which you should wear compression socks depends on your individual needs and circumstances.

If you are wearing compression socks for a specific condition, such as varicose veins or edema, your doctor may recommend a specific schedule for wearing them.

In general, compression socks can be worn every day, but it's a good idea to take them off at night to allow your skin to breathe and to prevent irritation or discomfort.

If you are wearing compression socks for sports or exercise, you may want to wear them during the activity and for a period of time afterward to aid in recovery.

How to measure the calf size?

Measuring your calves is the best way to find the right sock size. For plus friends, the most relevant sock size is the calf circumference. You only need to measure your calf circumference with a tape measure before placing an order, see what range your measurement value is in, and choose the corresponding size according to the size chart on product page.

Please note: This size chart is just an example. Please select the correct size according to the size chart on product page.
